Clean Air Projects
| Since 2007, Measure R has funded more than $7 million in transit, bike and environmental projects. These projects are funded through the 14% Clean Air projects category of Measure R, as detailed in the Expenditure Plan. |

Each city, and the County of Tulare, is able to secure Measure R funding for enhancements to bus routes, bike and pedestrian paths and other projects that will help clean the air. |

Projects include:
- LOOP bus
- Dinuba Connection bus
- Expansions of Visalia Transit routes and service
- Bike and pedestrian paths throughout Visalia
- Expansions and enhancements to Tulare County Area Transit
- Purchase of a bus and two vans to help children, seniors and other Lindsay residents access programs at the Wellness Center
- Purchase of a bus that allowed Porterville to add a new route and expand two existing routes.
- The Santa Fe Trail in Tulare has been improved and extended. The next phase calls for this regionally significant trail to be extended to connect Visalia and Tulare.
- Pre-emption of traffic signals for Tulare Intermodal Express (TIME) to enhance service.
- Woodlake now has enhanced transit service through Tulare County Area Transit (TCaT), including Saturday hours.
