Local road improvements
Measure R is making possible improvements to Tulare County’s rural roads and our essential farm-to-market network.
Since the first Measure R funds were received in 2007, Tulare County’s Resource Management Agency has been able to improve nearly 98 miles of roads in communities such as Earlimart, Pixley, Orosi, Ivanhoe, Cutler, Ducor, Allensworth and Richgrove.

Transit ImprovementsThanks to the Clean Air category of Measure R, Tulare County Area Transit (TCaT) has been able to enhance service throughout Tulare County, add Saturday service to many communities and provide the LOOP bus service for youth.
Routes 10 (serving North County), 20 (serving South County) 30 (serving Northeast County) and 40 (serving Southeast County) now offer longer service hours and weekend service. |

Regional Projects
Tulare County’s Resource Management Agency is also responsible for overseeing the widening of Road 80, Avenue 416, the Betty Drive interchange and Road 108 – all critically important
regional projects.
